Congleton’s War Memorial Hospital, which was opened in 1924 with money from local benefactors as a memorial to those who gave their lives in the First World War. Easy access to both physical and mental health-care needs are vital for the residents of Congleton. We are concerned that a reduction of services at our much-loved hospital will have a detrimental effect upon the health and well-being of residents in the town.
We believe that the Congleton War Memorial Hospital provides a vital service for residents. We therefore call on Cheshire East NHS Trust and the UK Government to provide the funding it requires and deserves in order that it may remain open and able to serve the people of Congleton.
